The Project

The Project was started in Zelda Fan Game Central, by a member named Jelleye. Everyone in ZFGC has always wanted to see Ocarina of Time 2D come true, that's exactly what we are aiming for. The game is currently being made with Game Maker. Ocarina of Time will be recreated using A Link To The Past (LTTP) graphics.
The asset of this project is that it's open-source. Meaning, anyone can come in, and help with the game! You can either create or provide resources, help with the programming, or design maps! In order to help us with the project, you must register to our forums or send an e-mail to Jelleye or me. The e-mail title must be : "Help to OoT2D-Community Project".

The History of Ocarina Of Time 2D

The original Ocarina Of Time 2D project was started by Daniel Barras (a.k.a TheRealMethuselah (TRM)), back in 2003. He started working on his game with Game Maker and later switched to a C# version of it. He released 3 demos of the game, those demos were made with Game Maker. He created a forum for his game, and the forum was ZFGC, being under pressure, Daniel Barras left the forum leaving no trace, for about a year or so. Now he has come back, and he is to release the so-called "Demo 4" (which includes everything up to Link removing the Master Sword). We are, of course, anxiously waiting for it.
